BOOGIE NIGHTS IN A LIBRARY

A library is a curated collection of sources of information, selected by experts and made accessible to a defined community.

But when we tend to feel some paranormal activities, which when foreseen becomes abnormal to the humane, then the real fear starts to develop.

Here are some of the most bone chilling incidents experienced by people in libraries:

THE WILLARD LIBRARY.
A ghost known as the "Gray Lady" supposedly haunts the Willard Library in Evansville. Those who have encountered the ghostly figure report a variety of sensations, including hearing strange noises, smelling the scent of perfume, and feeling ghostly touches
Books tend to disappear as well, and the furniture sometimes ends up in unusual places.

THE OLD LIBRARY OF VERSAILLES

In august 1901, 2 ladies visited the place for fun. On the way back, the two women became lost after missing a turn and, unbeknownst to them.

Several ghosts have been sited at the Old Library. A full body apparition of a little girl has been seen where the children's section used to be.

An old woman who used to own the place has also been sited. She waited and waited for her son to return from the war, and she died a few days after she learned that he was killed in action.
She walks around the yard and by the old well wearing a white nightgown and white slippers.

NATIONAL LIBRARY OF KOLKATA

The largest library in India is much more than a haunt for just book lovers. This place is also one of the most horror places in Kolkata.

The story of Lady Metcalfe's ghost haunting its corridors has been there for quite some time.

The mystery of the hidden chamber that was discovered by the Archeological Survey of India, a chamber that is rumoured to have served as a torture chamber during the British rule in India.
As per witness accounts, such paranormal experiences increased all the more after 12 labourers lost their lives in an accident during some renovation work at the site.

Sounds like some grist for the rumour mill. Kolkata was much loved by the Mughals, French, British and Dutch, almost every lane has a tale to tell, some with a twist of horror. Kolkata is a hub of paranormal activities and black magic.
