HOW TO OVERCOME STAGE FEAR

“The worst loneliness is to not be comfortable with Yourself.”
Stage fear is something that is common for everyone from big personalities to the daily new representatives.
If you always give excuses to others that simply means you are avoiding to face that situation because you are not comfortable with yourself. If you don’t feel comfortable with yourself then how can you feel comfortable in front of others or in front of hundreds of people.

The problem with the people who are having stage fear is lack of Self-Confidence and just because of this maybe they might not get the right exposure to overcome this fear.

The problem is not in the person who is having stage fear, porblem is in our generation who mocks the one who is trying to enact an event on before a crowd.
This gives a negative feedback to the person who is standing on the stage and this drops their confidence level from high to low and this is how stage fear arises.

There are certain things which you have to remember always that you are the best and no one will defeat you unless and until you have the potential to win that series or that game.
Glossophobia or speech anxiety is the fear of public speaking.

Try these tips to overcome stage fear-
*Do exercise, eat well, and practice other healthy lifestyles also and try to limit caffeine, alcohol, and sugar as much as possible.

*Prepare your material in advance and read it aloud to hear your voice and if reading many times still you are forgetting then record that material in your voice and hear it.

*You can also create a ritual like it can be your lucky shoes, your favourite piece of jewellery, or your silly stuffed soft toy. Keep it with yourself while going to stage performance. This will provide you a positive energy.

*Build a fake confidence in yourself and take your posture straight and have a big smile on your face and then suddenly after sometime you will feel comfortable and confident.

*Always focus on your strength rather than your weaknesses and remember that time when you handled challenging situations.

*Shift the focus from yourself and your fear to that thing in which you are involved now and for which you are standing on the stage.

*Forget all your past scary experiences related to stage fear in yourself.
*Refuse to think thoughts that create self doubt and low confidence.

*If you can then make body movements and change your gestures timely, this will give relaxation to your body and also keeps you active.

*Make connections with your audience by smiling and greeting and thinking of them as friends rather than enemies.
*Stop scaring yourself with thoughts about what might go wrong.
*Try to make distance from negative vibes and negative people before your performance.

*Giving up the try to be perfect and know that it is ok to make mistakes. Be natural, Be yourself and Be confident.
