As
the bell rings everyone go back to their classrooms but there was a girl named
Sejal who did not went back and was still looking at the road. Maybe she was
waiting for someone who will take her out of her from there.
Suddenly
her English teacher come and scolded her, “Why are you standing here, just go
back to your classroom......go” and she said “yes ma’am”. Sejal was very
innocent and a shy girl. She didn’t talk with too many people and she always
stayed in herself. Even she didn’t share her feelings with someone and all the
time she remained quite.
When
she was born her father passed away in a war with Pakistan protecting India as
he was in Indian army so she saw her father in pictures only and never in a real
life. Right from her childhood she always stayed with her mother. As the days
passed away her school life ended and the time comes when she had to take an
entry in the college as she was becoming mature.
When
she entered in a college, there also she felt like school. No more friend
circle, feeling isolated from everyone and nobody wants to talk to her there
too. Her college life was also passed just like school and she came in last
year of her graduation and she had a dream somewhere in her mind to become an Officer in Indian Army just like her father.
So he will feel proud about his
daughter from up there.
Time
passed. Sejal went on to complete her Post Grad On behalf of the studious hard
work shown by her. One day as she was returning from her college she decided to
talk with her mother about her persuasion and her mother also wanted to talk
with her about certain topics regarding her life.
When
she told her mother about her dream of going in Indian Army her mother became so angry that she said furiously, “What
is wrong with you and What ungodly are you saying Sejal? You are a girl and it
is not that safe to go in Indian army.
That war had already turned me into a widow. Now I don’t want to become a
Childless Mother. I want to die seeing you’re happily married with my Son-in-Law.
I want to see your children not seeing your dead body in a war if you will also
go whom you say your family”.
Her
mother told her about the boy that she has chosen for her. “I don’t know anything
I just told you I met a boy named Sachin
for you whom you are going to marry soon.
Sachin was a reputed manager at one of the
most renowned Hotel in Bombay. They are very reputed people and there will be
no shortage of anything. You will live happily and his parents are also very courteous”.
Sejal never really gave her assurance for the proposal.
Another
day, Sachin’s whole family came to meet Sejal and they wanted Sejal to become
their Daughter-in-law the very first moment they get. Both Sachin and Sejal
also liked each other and their families decided that terminally engagement
will be done here itself and after Post Graduation of Sejal, both Sachin and Sejal
will get married.
Engagement
day came. Everything was going so amazing. The daughter’s mother was very happy
and prayed to god that both will live happily together after.
Engagement
done....but it didn’t meant Sejal forgot her dream. A couple of days later of
her engagement, she left her home with a letter describing about the selection
stating, “I am selected on behalf of my application and interview in the Defence
Services and I m going to Pathankot for the posting”.
Good-Bye
Mom. Good-Bye Sachin. I’ll come soon to meet you all............
Stay tuned for
the next part of this story as it is not ending here it has a lot of things in
the other part.
