These days behavioural disorders are arising in children and youth at a very alarming pace. Even we can’t find out easily whether the children is facing behavioural disorder or not because social media plays a role of evil in our world and engulfing the youth.
As we talk more on Behavioural disorders, it generally includes:-
1. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
In this disorder, children are unable to pay attention on one particular thing. It is a mental disorder. This disorder even continue in the children in their teens as well as in their adulthood period.
Some people think that their child is giving excuses to them that he or she is not able to pay attention on studies and show always tiredness and bad attitude towards them but this is not their children's mistake.
Maybe he or she is facing the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Cause - It is quite unclear but many researches say that it is due to exposure to some toxins or chemicals which are released they will increase chances of ADHD. But it is not truly accepted by majority of the researchers.
It's Symptoms are-
1. Poor concentration.
2. Always feeling tired.
3. Low frustration tolerance.
4. Can’t control their anger.
5. Shows irresponsibility.
6. Hyperactivity.
7. Impulsivity.
8. Poor management.
9. Lack of restraint.
10. Poor time management skills.
2. Conduct Disorder (CD)
This is also a mental disorder. In this disorder children behaves in different manners as the children of their age does and they show the repetitive pattern of behaviour.
Researchers said children suffering from this disorder violates the basic rights of others. They steal things, defy their parents, skip schools. All these activities are grouped into the category of “Antisocial personality disorder”.
Cause- Cause of conduct disorder is also not truly acceptable and it is also said that this disorder cannot be diagnosed until the age of 18 but it is believed that it is caused due to combination of genetic and biological factors.
It's Symptom are-
1. Shows cruelty towards animals and plants.
2. Violets the rules of the authority.
3. Skip schools.
4. Aggressive behaviour.
5. Destructive behaviour.
6. Running away from their home after feeling lonely in it.
7. Lying behaviour.
8. Steal things.
9. Shoplifting.
10. Drug and alcohol abuse.
3. Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
They show the behavioural patterns that are troubling to others and not for themselves. In this disorder child or teenager has a frequent and persistent pattern of anger, irritability, arguing nature, defiance or vindictiveness toward you and other authority figures.
He or she may have oppositional defiant disorder (ODD).
Cause- Researches said oppositional defiant disorder is caused due to combination of environmental and genetic factors.
Symptoms-
1. Short Tempered.
2. Poor school and work performance.
3. Antisocial behavior.
4. Impulse control problems.
5. Substance use disorder.
6. Suicide computing feelings.
7. Anxiety.
8. Depression.
9. Learning and communication disorders.
10.Antisocial disorder.
What to do when you feel some of the symptoms~ Stay as you really want to live for yourself. Do not take less than the best for yourself. Do not let people decide to take your dreams off of you by their judgements and their opinions.
